TERN Selected as a 2026 World Economic Forum Technology Pioneer
We’re honored to announce that TERN has been selected as a 2026 World Economic Forum Technology Pioneer.
Since 2000, the Technology Pioneers alumni include companies such as Google, PayPal, Airbnb, and Dropbox that have gone on to define categories and shape industries. It is a privilege to join that community and contribute to the World Economic Forum’s work through the Centre for Frontier Technologies and Innovation.
This year’s cohort brings together 100 companies from 23 countries working at the forefront of some of the world’s most important technological shifts across AI, energy, health, space, and other frontier sectors.
The selection comes during a period of significant momentum for TERN, including all-terrain expansion across off-road environments, advanced routing capabilities, continued growth across OEM, defense, and fleet markets, and participation in the U.S. Army’s Operation Jailbreak initiative. During the event, TERN further established its role as foundational infrastructure supporting command and control, fleet operations, and intelligent mobility systems while demonstrating vehicle health and fleet visibility capabilities inside existing operational environments.
The recognition builds on growing momentum around resilient positioning and reflects a broader shift underway across industries. What began as a resilience capability is evolving into foundational positioning infrastructure. As command and control systems, robotics, autonomy, and intelligent mobility platforms become increasingly interconnected, continuously available position is becoming a critical requirement for the systems operating above it.
TERN looks forward to contributing to the World Economic Forum’s work through the Centre for Frontier Technologies and Innovation while engaging with fellow Technology Pioneers helping shape the future of technology across industries.
